<image:title>Blog - You Are NOT David! - What is the Bible really about? Is it a collection of stories that are up for reinterpretation as we see fit? Would it be right or appropriate to do that - to change the common meaning as we please? Is there a right way to view the Bible, or is it based solely on the reader’s preference? Can the reader be wrong in how they approach the Word of God, or would that be an un-Christlike gesture - to accuse someone of being wrong for holding the beliefs they do?</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Must We Speak in Tongues? - A believer could easily reach a level of depression due to feeling abandoned by God, seeing everyone else at the altar of the church “speaking in tongues”, and feeling shame at not having attained unto the gift due to apparent unfaithfulness.</image:title>

<image:caption>To conclude, the spiritual gifts are enablements by God for His work to be accomplished in the earth, and they are to line up to that purpose with a proper posture and trajectory. Striving to show off by loudly practicing something in front of others is outright rejected by Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:5-8).</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Must We Speak in Tongues? - One of the most pronounced teachings among charismatic Christians is that a vital and prevalent gift among all true Christians is that of “speaking in tongues.” This gift is practiced as glossolalia, the phenomenon of speaking in an unknown (and non-human) “language.” This often becomes a sensation-oriented endeavor for the believer to experience the (expected) ecstasy of close communion with God during worship and prayer. Many believe that it is indeed a language, a heavenly and angelic one in fact, and that the practice of this gift edifies the individual. Although, if examined biblically, at the very least, the common public practice will be subjected to Scriptural confines, and the private use will not be so much boasted of.</image:title>

<image:title>Home - Why Milk & Meat?</image:title>
<image:caption>To rightly divide the Word of Truth, we are to first understand the rudimentary principles of the Gospel, the MILK, and then follow on to know the more excellent doctrines of Christ, the MEAT. Without this, we are certain to follow in the footsteps of those that have come before us - echoing the historically replete symptoms of ignorance…. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” -Hosea 4:6 …so, to correctly apprehend the Bible, which is the Christian’s rule of faith and life, we must use a proper hermeneutical and contextual approach and assure that the whole of Scripture agrees with the interpretation we arrive at. Anything short of this will likely lure us into unbiblical conclusions that distort the intended meaning of God’s Word to us, and will endanger our life and faith, along with whoever else is affected by our wrongly assumed views about God and His Word.</image:caption>
